allan falieri

Allan Falieri was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

He graduated in dance at the Rio Dance Center, directed by Ángela Ferreira.

He has worked with great choreographers, including Jirí Kylián, Maurice Béjart, Mats Ek, Ohad Naharin, Crystal Pite, Wayne McGregor, among others. As a freelance dancer, he worked on several projects in the Netherlands, Japan, and Switzerland.

In 1996 he joined the Municipal Theater of Rio de Janeiro, directed by Jean Yves Lormeau and in 1998 he joined the Béjart Ballet Lausanne directed by Maurice Béjart.

Later, in 2002, he joined the Ballet Gulbenkian, directed by IracityCardoso and in 2006 he joined the Nederlands Dans Theater.

In 2009 he has been a visiting professor at the University of Rio de Janeiro.

In September 2010 he joined the CND (Spain´s National Dance Company) where he participated in “Young Choreographers” with the National Dance Company with the ballet: “The Secret Of My Pocket Show I Share With Dr. Almeida”. And in the same year made a piece for the International Museum Day "How to Hide Your Hand."

Later, he created the piece "Me You ... Almost Us" with Yoko Taira.

 

In 2013 he was guest teacher at the “31st Danville de Joinville Festival”, participated as a jury member and teacher at the 3rd International Choreographic Competition in Milan. In 2014 he taught at the Ballet da Cidade de São Paulo and at the Escola de Dança de São Paulo, he was a guest choreographer at the 1st Ateliê Internacional São Paulo Companhia de Dança where he choreographed the ballet “# Cod.bh-8” and taught as a guest teacher at the Bolshoi School in Brazil In 2015, he taught in Ravenna (Italy) at the Scuela Campus Estiva di Danza at DAF in Rome (Italy) and worked as a dancer on the projects with Victor Hugo Pontes, Paulo Ribeiro.

In 2016 he participated in classes at the Royal Professional Conservatory of Dance Mariemma and at the XI International Dance Days - Maó (Menorca), was a guest choreographer for the show “No Te Rendas”, for D.A.F (Italy) created ‘’ # cod.MMFT ‘’ and at the Sesc dance company in Brazil “ENTROPIA”. In 2017 he puts on the ballet `` In Transit '' by Annabelle Lopez Ochoa and is a guest professor at the West Australian Ballet.

Professor and guest choreographer for the Universities and Higher Education Foundation of Castilla y León, creating the pieces “NSIGHT”, “THE WOMAN WHO DID NOT EAT THE APPLE”

“BEAUTIFUL STRANGERS” and “# cod.BS49 (A1-4)”

He currently collaborates with Cirque du Soleil in the casting team.
