anton valdbauer

Anton Valdbauer was born in Vorkuta, in the Komi Republic of Russia.

He begins his training at Syktyvkar Art, Russia

finishing at the prestigious Russian Ballet Academy of Vaganova in St. Petersburg, and continues with a year of improvement at the Hochschule für Darstelende Kunste Frankfurt, Germany.

 

Career:

Currently and since 2012 he is a dancer of the Royal Swedish Ballet, under the direction of J.Öhman and Nicolas Le Riche.

 

He has worked and danced an extensive repertoire of contemporary pieces by renowned choreographers of the current scene such as:

Mats Ek, Jiri Kylian, Ohan Naharin, Crystal Pite, Wim Vandekeybus, Sasha Waltz,

Johan Inger, Marco Goecke, Sharon Eyal, Alex Ekman, Paul Lightfoot and Sol Leon, Hans van Manen, Stijn Celis, Lucas Timulak, Jeremie Bellignard, Christopher Wheeldon and others.
