Helen Rosenthal, born in New York City, began her professional dance career at the Metropolitan Opera.

He danced in various companies in the United States, including the Kansas City Ballet, the Oklahoma Ballet, the Ballet du Nord, the Ohio Ballet, the North Carolina Dance Theater, and the Connecticut Ballet.

Following these engagements, she moved to Germany to work with Richard Wherlock and Jean Jacques Vidal at the Hagen Ballet Theater. After his time at Hagen, he danced projects with Martin Stiefermann and Marco Goerke in Berlin, Düsseldorf and Hannover. She later became a ballet teacher at the Staatstheater Braunschweig under the direction of Pierre Wyss.

He has taught classes and workshops in various schools and companies such as Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway in New York; Center du Formation Chorégraphique Tempsdanse in Marseille, France; Conservatoire du Gap in Gap, France; Friedrichstadt Palast in Berlin, Contemporary Dance School (CDSH) in Hamburg, both in Germany; and the Carmina Ocana and Pablo Savoye Ballet School in Madrid, Spain.

He currently works at the University of Kiel (CAU) and at the Kiel Theater in Germany.
